Objective
To improve task completion and reduce drop-off across HDFC Bank's corporate credit card and SmartBuy digital touchpoints by applying progressive disclosure, accessibility improvements, and structured usability testing with real cardholders — delivering a handoff so clean that engineering required 0 revision cycles, ahead of schedule.
During my internship at HDFC Bank, I was fortunate to be part of an exceptional UX team that gave me the opportunity to explore impactful projects. My role was centered around two major areas within the bank's digital ecosystem: commercial credit cards and the HDFC Smart Buy consumer product. These products play a vital role in enhancing user interaction within the bank's ecosystem, and being part of their development was both exciting and challenging.
Working on the commercial credit cards project, I gained deep insights into how businesses rely on banking products for seamless operations, and I contributed to refining user journeys that catered to these needs. HDFC Smart Buy, on the other hand, allowed me to engage with consumer-driven features and workflows, where the focus was on delivering intuitive, easy-to-use experiences that helped customers make the most of the bank's offerings.
